Hazel Diane

Having been brought up in Cornwall, near the beaches of Southern England I was surrounded by natural beauty. This has often influenced my design work, I love to bring aspects of nature into the home. 

I have always been fascinated with Architecture, Interior Design and Fabrics.

After finishing my BA Hons Degree in Art and Design and Cultural Studies I went travelling around Australia.

I then went on to further my design qualifications by studying Interior Architecture at Marbella Design Academy in Spain. A year of my life that was enriched by a new culture and being surrounded by beautiful Architecture.

I worked for seven years designing shop interiors and window displays on many of the world's most luxurious cruise ships. The role of International Visual Merchandiser gave me the opportunity to travel the globe and with it the chance to experience many different cultures and learn new styles of design.

​

I have also worked as an Interior Stylist. Styling show homes is a wonderful way of helping people see the opportunity they have within the space, bringing an empty home to life.

​

My recent work has been bringing influences of nature into a beach house in Maryland U.S.A. Working with the light to create space and warmth.

​

In my personal time I love to visit National Trust properties and take walks in their grounds. I enjoy visiting new places and exploring. I have taken Ballroom and Salsa lessons for many years, which is a wonderful way of meeting new people and keeping fit. I enjoy sewing and I am always making gifts for friends and family members.
