As a Visual Merchandiser I was responsible for designing shop interiors and window displays which ranged from simple designs to dramatic imaginative instillations.

My position required me to be highly commercial and sales orientated.

I worked with over 400 brands from high end designers such as Chopard, Hermes, Ralph Lauren to high street brands such as Swarovski, Guess and Fossil.

Shops on board ranged from designer fashion, high-end jewellery, perfume shops to children’s toy shops and duty free, each shop design I created must be tailored to meet the individual tastes and requirements of the cruise company as well as the shop itself.

With cruises constantly changing destinations the window displays have to be updated frequently.

Here you can see just a few of my window designs. I had to source all my props keeping to a tight budget. Each window would have an initial sketch then created in photoshop. If the shop staff had to install it themselves I had to create a clear break down of installation instructions. I then had to organise the logistics of getting the props to the ship on time, as the ships were all over the globe I had to work in advance of seasonal changes and promotions.
